Mixed-media Mavens: Each class will be different and focus on a different technique in the mixed-media world. This one will be creating collage papers. We will do all sorts of techniques including but not limited to: painting book pages and vintage papers, using inks, using gloss spray, stenciling, mark-making with found objects and more. These are papers that you will keep in your stash to use in projects alongside any store-bought papers you may have. Other Mixed-media Maven classes will employ these hand-decorated papers.
This is not only for people who already consider themselves artists. All are welcome.
8 spots. Must have at least 5 to run the course. If by September 3, the class does not have 5, you will, of course, be informed and refunded in full.

Mixed-media Mavens: Each class will be different and focus on a different technique in the mixed-media world. This one will be gelli plate printing. This technique uses a gelatin plate, a brayer and water-based mediums to produce papers that we can later use in collage projects. Other Mixed-media Maven classes will employ these hand-decorated papers. (See also Creating Collage Papers on September 6.)
This is not only for people who already consider themselves artists. All are welcome.

Mixed-media Mavens: Each class will be different and focus on a different technique in the mixed-media world. This one will be Masterboard Collage. Bring any collage papers you have made in previous MMM classes (9/6 and 9/19) or that you have at home. There will also be some here for you to use. You will make a large masterboard collage and then cut it down into smaller pieces that will become a greeting card and a mini journal.
Other Mixed-media Maven classes will employ these hand-decorated papers. (See also Creating Collage Papers on September 6.)
