Joy of the Journey: Grown-up Art Camp--July 27-31, 2026
The Greatest Hits Collection
10 Years of Creating, Connecting & Celebrating the Journey
For ten years, Joy of the Journey has been a grown-up art camp for women who are ready to reconnect with themselves.
Not the role you play.
Not the responsibilities you carry.
You.
This camp is a creative exhale. A place to slow down, set aside the noise, and let your imagination come out and play. For five summer days, we gather to paint, layer, laugh, experiment, and remember what it feels like to create just because it feels good.
And because this is our 10th anniversary year, we’re turning up the volume.
Welcome to The Greatest Hits Collection--an encore experience featuring reimagined favorites from the past nine years. We’re bringing back beloved projects and giving them a fresh musical twist inspired by pop, rock, country, jazz, and acoustic soul.
You’ll design your own mixtape journal.
You’ll remix past masterpieces.
You’ll make new memories.
It’s nostalgia with new notes.
Harmony with heart.
Creativity with a backbeat.
If you’ve ever needed permission to pause, to play, to pick up the paintbrush again, this is your cue.
Let’s press record on Year Ten!
$600 until March 31, 2026 ($625 after that)

Instructor: Kerry Molina
The Yellow Brick Road Studio’s adult day camp “Joy of the Journey” is a one-of-a-kind, 5-day camp for women who are ready to dedicate some real time to relax, restore and renew. As women, we work and handle, juggle and manage…and we rock at it, don’t we? Now it is time to add in some true self-care.
At YBR, we believe that all of us have buried gifts inside. Like the characters in The Wizard of Oz, we often think we need outside sources to validate us. We tend to let this happen while we are busy taking care of everyone else. Let’s slow down enough to recognize inspiration, reconnect with our inner creative energy and enjoy the journey.
- The purposes of “Joy of the Journey:”
- Renewal and self-discovery
- Personal creative growth
- Creativity and artistic adventures

- Supportive community of like-minded souls
- Fun
- Positive vibes
- Relaxation and Pampering
Each day's experience is expertly designed to touch on each purpose listed above, but in a variety of ways so that every day is unique. Expect fun surprises along the way too!
“Joy of the Journey” is the perfect opportunity for someone wanting to tap back into her creativity, awaken her dormant self, get messy and make connections. Give yourself the gift of time and space to connect with your inner visions and express them in a supportive small-group environment.
