Patriotism and Citizenship
As part of my series: The Content of my Character: Who am I When No One is Looking? for kids
July 16, 2022
2 - 4 PM
Ages 8 - 13
Do kids get enough character education these days? Isn't character as important as intelligence? This series is meant to be a fun way for kids to learn about the positive character traits that are important in our society.
Woven throughout will be the idea that positivity, good attitude and self-esteem all tie into being the best person one can be. I want kids to be reminded that they are smart, kind, valuable and can do/get through hard things.
Kids will participate in group discussions as well as personal reflection through journal writing. There will also always be games, an art component and a goody bag.
In this class, the focus will be on patriotism and citizenship. This class is for you if you want your kids to believe that love of one's country can unite us. This class is for you if you want your kids to learn to be good citizens and the freedoms, rights and responsibilities that entails.
First-come, first served and there is room for 8. Must have a minimum of 4 to have the class.
